BJMP Caraga Assistant Regional Director for Administration, JSUPT RAY L DE LUNA together with the Regional Welfare and Development Division attended the turnover ceremony of equipment for the jail library at Butuan City Jail Male Dormitory (BCJMD).
BCJMD led by JCINSP DIOVIN C AUZA, received 1,650 books from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) for the Read Your Way Out (RYWO) Project as one of the 13 exclusively awarded and identified pilot jail libraries nationwide.
This undertaking stands as a testament to the commitment of BJMP Caraga and its partners in fostering positive change and rehabilitation among Persons Deprived of Liberty, ultimately contributing to their successful reintegration into society.
