BJMP Caraga spearheaded by the Regional Chief of Directorial Staff, successfully conducted the flag-raising ceremony in celebration of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW) 2023. To show support for the annual advocacy campaign which raises awareness about the prevalence and devastating impact of gender-based violence. It aims to highlight the urgent need to end all forms of violence against women and girls worldwide.

After the flag-raising ceremony, the recitation of the Safe Spaces Act pledge and signing on the commitment wall took place as part of the observation of the said celebration.
